Contractor terms of use

UrgentHelpLA sells Ready-to-Dispatch Service Calls to contractors covering Santa Clarita Valley plumbing. Get a homeowner who wants plumbing service now and has already accepted your disclosed service fee. Your first 2 valid Ready-to-Dispatch Service Calls are free. After that, each valid accepted call is $125. No membership. No subscription. No minimum spend. Your default weekly spend limit is $500, and you can lower it or pause new calls at any time. UrgentHelpLA does not guarantee the homeowner will authorize a repair. You are an independent contractor, not an employee or partner. We do not perform the work.

First 2 valid calls are free. After that, you pay $125 only for each valid Ready-to-Dispatch Service Call you accept and successfully receive. There is no membership and no minimum spend. Your account starts with a $500 weekly spend limit, which is simply a maximum spending control—not an upfront charge. Your account starts with a $500 weekly spend limit. This is not an upfront charge or minimum commitment. You are charged only for valid Ready-to-Dispatch Service Calls you accept after your free trial. Billing requires Accept plus successful contact release (AVAILABLE_IN_APP, SMS_DELIVERED, or live bridge connected). SMS_ACCEPTED is not enough. Failed charges: first failure leaves the job active and the homeowner unaffected; a second consecutive failed paid transaction, or unpaid balance over 3 days, places the account DARK — PAYMENT HOLD.

We credit a disconnected number, the wrong ZIP, the wrong trade, a duplicate already sent you, a fake request, or a contact-release defect. We do not credit because the homeowner declined the price or hired someone else after you arrived, or because you failed to close.

You set and collect your own service visit fee. Defaults are $150 daytime / $199 after hours unless you store a different amount. That charge is between you and the homeowner. UrgentHelpLA does not collect it. If they authorize the repair with you, credit the visit fee in full. Do not advertise free service calls on UrgentHelpLA jobs.

Coverage is one contractor per ZIP per trade. Sharing, reselling, or forwarding a lead, or asking the homeowner not to use UrgentHelpLA, is grounds to reassign the ZIP. You keep the job you complete. Future emergencies the homeowner submits to UrgentHelpLA remain ours to route.

Call and text only homeowners who requested help and consented. Keep a record of the visit, the diagnostic charge, and whether work was authorized. We may follow up with the homeowner to confirm service.

Contractor account and billing data is handled under our Privacy policy. Homeowner numbers you receive are for that job and ordinary follow-up on work they authorized — not for a shared list.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DO NOT WARRANT CALL VOLUME OR THAT ANY HOMEOWNER WILL AUTHORIZE WORK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW,URGENTHELPLA IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU IS LIMITED TO THE READY-TO-DISPATCH FEES YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

You will defend and hold UrgentHelpLA harmless from claims arising out of your work, your estimates, your diagnostic charges, or your breach of these terms or the exclusive agreement, except to the extent caused by our own misconduct.

These terms are governed by California law. Venue for court disputes is Los Angeles County, California.
