Exclusive contractor agreement
These are the commercial terms for exclusive ZIP coverage with UrgentHelpLA. Have your attorney review before you lock territory. This page is not legal advice.
1. What you are buying
UrgentHelpLA sells an exclusive introduction to a homeowner in a locked ZIP and trade. You receive one request at a time for that ZIP and trade. We do not sell the same request to another company in your coverage.
2. Lead fees
Valid leads bill to the card on file: Water $175, HVAC $95, Plumbing $85, Electrical $90. Fees are for the introduction, not a share of the job. Failed charges pause delivery.
3. Credits
We credit a lead that is a disconnected number, the wrong ZIP, the wrong trade, or a duplicate we already sent you. We do not credit a lead because the homeowner declined the price or hired someone else after you arrived.
4. Diagnostic visit
You will present a $99 diagnostic visit to the homeowner before work begins. If they authorize the repair with you, that charge is credited in full on the invoice. If they decline the work or hire another company, the diagnostic visit remains payable to you. Do not advertise free service calls on UrgentHelpLA jobs.
5. Exclusive territory
Coverage is one contractor per ZIP per trade. If you stop paying, miss jobs, share a lead, or ask the homeowner not to use UrgentHelpLA, we may reassign that ZIP. New emergency requests in that ZIP go to the contractor who holds it.
6. The customer relationship
You keep the job you complete, including ordinary follow-up on that work. You may not resell, forward, or gift the lead to another company. You may not harvest UrgentHelpLA requests to build a shared list. Future emergencies the homeowner submits to UrgentHelpLA remain ours to route.
7. Contact and records
Call and text only homeowners who requested help and consented. Keep a record of the visit, the diagnostic charge, and whether work was authorized. We may follow up with the homeowner to confirm service.
8. Independent contractor
You are not an employee, partner, or agent of UrgentHelpLA. You hold your own licenses, insurance, and warranty. We connect the request; we do not perform the work.
